Taylor Swift is undeniably one of the world’s most well-known celebrities. Aside from her impending musical achievements, the 11-time Grammy winner has always made headlines for the smallest changes in her appearance. Fans noticed Swift had ditched the curls and barely-there makeup she had worn while promoting “Folklore” and “Evermore” at the 2020 Apple Music Awards when she accepted her Songwriter of the Year award. Swifties quickly associated her straightened, long blonde locks (complete with fringe and crimson lips) with an Easter egg revealing which album she was re-recording next. “She straightened her hair with fringe!” exclaimed one fan (via Page Six). “When was the last time she did something like that?” “THE RED ERA!” (Hey, they were right.)
Swift’s appearance has drawn the attention of more than just her massive and ardent fanbase. Swift had the lips that British women most frequently asked their cosmetic surgeons to imitate, according to The Irish Sun in 2016. “Taylor’s lips are perfect — she has a gorgeous voluptuous pout and a beautifully shaped cupid’s bow, which so many women want,” said Dr. Julian De Silva of the Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery. Nice!
Aside from her lips and fringe, anyone (well, almost everyone) who has seen a photo of Swift has probably noticed she frequently dwarfs those around her, to the point where an article once provided photographic evidence of the ‘Times Taylor Swift Was So Tall’. So, how tall is tall when it comes to height?
Taylor Swift, like her squad, is proud of her height.

Taylor Swift, like her squad, is proud of her height.
According to a 2008 Girls’ Life profile, Taylor Swift stands 5 feet 11 inches tall. It is worth noting, however, that Swift told People in 2015 that she had grown one inch — in her mid-20s! “[W]hich means I’m the world’s most recently developing human,” she joked.
But what’s an inch here or there when you’re blessed with such verticality? Swift told Girls’ Life that, while she was once self-conscious about her height, she has grown accustomed to standing out in a crowd. (literally). “When I can put on a pair of four-inch heels and walk into a room and be taller than everyone else,” she proudly declared at the time.
Swift’s friends appear to enjoy making fun of her stature. Lorde posed with a blonde friend whose face was cut out of frame in a since-deleted 2016 Instagram post (via Suggest). “When you love ur friend but she is a beautiful giraffe so she gets cropped,” Lorde joked in her caption, referring to Swift. Ed Sheeran, Swift’s longtime pal, is also joking about being shorter than the “Red” singer. According to People, the 5-foot-8-inch musician complained in a 2015 interview, “I feel like we look like cast members of ‘The Hobbit.’ [Swift’s] like in the elven kingdom.” She’s hanging out with Galadriel and such, while I have hairy feet.” Yes, we can see why those two get along so well.
When it comes to love, Taylor Swift believes that height is just a number.

Taylor Swift wasn’t lying when she told Girls’ Life in 2008 that she enjoys men of all heights. “It’s fine if a guy is shorter than me if he sweeps me off my feet, you know?” Swift revealed. Despite this, in 2015’s “Wildest Dreams,” Swift described a male crush as “so tall / and handsome as hell.” (per Genius).” Swift’s height has fallen on many exes. Sure, Swift has dated her fair share of “Wildest Dreams”-style hunks, including her boyfriend since 2016 (according to Elle), 6-foot-1-inch actor Joe Alywn. (via Cheatsheet). At 6 feet 2 inches tall, Tom Hiddleston, Swift’s most famous relationship prior to Alywn, is NBA point guard-worthy. (via TheThings).
According to Page Six, it would be remiss not to include Jake Gyllenhaal on any Swift dating history lists. The subject of “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)” is said to be 6 feet 3 inches tall.
So, who is Swift’s most recent celebrity ex? That appears to be Joe Jonas, with whom Swift has reconciled since the 25-second phone call debacle. (per Page Six). According to The U.S. Sun, Jonas’ 5-foot-7-inch height places him below other exes such as 5-foot 10-inch Lucas Till, Swift’s co-star in her “You Belong with Me” music video (per Celeb Heights), and 5-foot 8-inch Taylor Lautner (per Gossip Gist). Swift’s proclivity for keeping platonic company with those both shorter (such as the 5-foot 8-inch Ed Sheeran, via People) and taller (such as the 6-foot 1-inch Karlie Kloss, via Elle), we can only assume she doesn’t “see” height.
Taylor Swift makes the most of her relationships.

Alwyn and Swift were dating as of late 2016, though they never revealed where they met. Swift had previously been linked to Tom Hiddleston and Calvin Harris.
Swift shared photocopies of her diary entries on her 2019 album “Lover,” including one from January 3, 2017, in which she discusses her new relationship. While Alwyn isn’t named, the chronology of the diary entries corresponds to her relationship.
Swift and Alwyn made their Instagram accounts public in 2018.
Swift and Alwyn acknowledged their relationship online about a year and a half after they began dating.
They posted similar photos of themselves standing next to a tall cactus on their Instagram accounts.
Alwyn stated that he would ‘prefer to talk about work’ over personal relationships.
Alwyn was asked about his relationship with Swift during a May 2018 interview with British Vogue, not long after the aforementioned cactus photos, and said he would rather not discuss it with the publication.

- Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have reportedly ended their six-year relationship.
- On Saturday, Entertainment Tonight broke the news, which People later confirmed.
- The singer of “Midnights” is currently on tour with the Eras Tour.
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have reportedly ended their six-year relationship.
The news was first reported by Entertainment Tonight on Saturday night, citing an anonymous source. People and Page Six later confirmed the report.
According to ET’s source, the split was amicable and “not dramatic.”
“The relationship had just come to an end.” “That’s why [Alwyn] hasn’t been seen at any shows,” the source explained.
The singer of “Midnights” is currently on tour with the Eras Tour. Alwyn has not been seen at any shows, despite reports that the two stars were still going strong just a few weeks ago.
“Joe will accompany her whenever possible,” an anonymous source told People. “They work well together. Joe is enthusiastic about her career.”
Swift and Alwyn kept their relationship private throughout, though fans believe they met in 2016 and began dating later that year. Their relationship became public in early 2017.
For several years, the couple has avoided rumours of an engagement.
“The truth is, if I had a pound coin for every time someone told me I’ve been engaged or I’m getting engaged, I’d have a lot of pound coins,” Alwyn told Vulture in May 2022. “I wouldn’t say anything if the answer was yes.” I wouldn’t say anything if the answer is no.”
Swift alluded to her six-year relationship with Alwyn while promoting her single “Lavender Haze,” which was released as the opening track on “Midnights” last October, saying they’ve had to ignore “weird rumors, tabloid stuff” in order to “protect the real stuff.”
Swift reveals in the song that she was referring to the constant speculation that she and Alwyn are engaged, secretly married, or planning to have children.
The music video appears to contain several nods to Alwyn, including a vinyl cover with the Pisces constellation, his zodiac sign.
